In case you are wondering what happened to this rose. It didn't get through.
It deteriorated very quickly when I applied my home-made aerated compost tea.
I learned that feeding needs changes when the rose plant become more established. I believe the soil was too acidic, if it was less acidic the recovery would have been quicker. And also by adding the compost tea, I probably introduced unfavourable soil organism into the soil, thus affected the roots.
